This might be my first bad review ever. I went in to inquire about a car speaker replacement cost/quote. Expert electronics quoted me $100 for the job. I was going to provide the speaker, so this was just for the labor. Then, I went to different providers/locations to shop around, to get the best value. The second location (formerly known as 'cars and stereos' but was already in the process of being acquired by Expert electronics) I went to, quoted me $50. So, I decided to go with them, naturally. The representative who quoted me $50 was also from Expert electronics. When I arrived at this location, a few days later, new representatives of Expert electronics at this location refused to honor the price that was quoted in the beginning. My problem is not the amount of $ being charged. The problem is, why was there twice the delta on the price that was quoted? Are they overcharging for the work! Or is there miscommunication somewhere? The impression I got based on my conversation was that no matter what owner quotes, prices are determined by the mechanics who are going to do the work. This place takes the time, and care to do the job right!!! My boyfriend had brought a system of his own (purchased) to have installed, and the sub unfortunately was the wrong Ohm he ordered. Had to return it and purchase the correct one. Adam the installer went out of his way and installed his personal sub in my BF’s car temporarily so he had a good system until the new order arrived in a couple days. What a guy! He did a great job on the wiring and ran everything perfectly. Looks like it came that way from the get go. Highly recommend. Great people here and the owner is super cool too!

I had a great experience here for car audio. Adam was extremely helpful, professional, and took the time to clearly explain all the options. They made sure everything was done right the first time and the installation was clean, and the sound quality was exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch service!

The work that was done to my car is absolutely ridiculous. Do not waste your money or your time dealing with these people. Not only on my left with a bad tint job, but I’m also left with damage to my vehicle. There are splashes in my rubber trimming around my window as well as a big scratch on my vehicle, They don’t take accountability so if you’d like Your vehicle to be done correctly and Without damage go somewhere else

I had a fantastic experience at Expert Electronics in Machesney Park, IL! My car stereo had gone out, and I needed a reliable replacement that matched my needs and expectations. Adam R. was an absolute delight to work with—he’s incredibly knowledgeable about all the products they carry. He really took the time to listen to what I was looking for, explained everything clearly, including the timeframe and the full procedure. No rushing, just great customer service! They were able to source the parts quickly and get my vehicle in and completed much faster than I expected. I’m super thrilled with the results—the new setup sounds amazing. Highly recommend Expert Electronics in Machesney Park for any auto audio or electronics needs. Tell John (the owner) and Adam I said hello—you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again for the excellent work.
